BRIAR Anna (Lukey) Briar, 88, of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 2, 2003, after a short illness. She was born May 26, 1915, the daughter of the late John Sr. and Julia (Kaynni) Lukey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Steve and Joseph Lukey and two sisters, Julie Ann Lukey and Julia Kelner. She is survived by a son, Thomas Briar and wife Carol of Addison; and two daughters, Betty Ann Punday and husband Thomas of Uniontown and Kathleen Briar and Sven Hosford of Irwin; three grandchildren, Daniel Punday and wife Carol of Munster, Ind., Michele Dulemba and husband Ronald of Irwin and Christine Kent and husband Kevin of Bell Vernon; four great grandchildren, Ambur Dulemba, Ashley Dulemba, Samuel Punday and Mason Kent; one brother, John Lukey Jr. and wife Kay of Footedale; and three sisters, Rose Fialla of Garfield Heights, Ohio, Helen Zaycosky and Ann Lukey, both of Uniontown; and many loving nieces and nephews and their families. Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, a Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday and until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, when a prayer service will be held. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Main Street, Addison. Interment to follow in Addison Cemetery. Daily American, July 3, 2003
