Mr. Bevenour died two days after his son, Robert J. Bevenour, 63, of 110 Newark St., Littlestown, died at the Golden Age Nursing Home.
Mr. Bevenour, his wife of 65 years, Geneieve: his sister, Marian Bevenour; and their late son, Robert, were all guest at Golden Age.
Funeral services for Robert were to have been held this morning in Littlestown.
Linus J. Bevenour was born in Adams County, son of the late Joseph L. and Lelia Lawrence Bevenour.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, New Oxford; the Holy Name Society; and the Hanover Moose Lodge.
Surviving are; wife, the former Genevieve Yingling; children, Richard S. Bevenour of Spring Grove, Mrs. William Shrader of New Oxford, William F. Bevenour of Honover, Mrs. Conway Dettinburn of New Oxford, Mrs. Russell Shriver of New Oxford, Burnell P. Bevenour of New Oxford; 37 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Pauline Felty of McSherrystown, Miss Marian Bevenour of the Golden Age Nursing Home, Hanover, and Mrs. Leonard Becker of Spring Grove; brother Lawrence Bevenour of New Oxford.
Funeral services will be held Thursday meeting at the Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, New Oxford, with Msgr. Lawrence Overbaugh, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Oxford.
