Mrs. Ida Funk, 80, died at her home,323 South Eleventh St. at 7:55 a.m. today following an illness of four months. She was the last of eleven children.
Ida Bantum was born in Bethlehem township Oct 16,1870, a daughter of Benjamin & Sarah Jane "Jenny" Binning Bantum. On Dec. 17, 1891, she married Joseph Funk, who died in 1915.
Surviving are two sons, Walter of Coshocton and Abraham of Waynesburg Rt.1; four daughters, Ms. Goldie Lowrey, Fresno Rt.2, Mrs. Dorothy Crawford, Kennan, Wisc.,Bessie Funk and Mrs. Olive Payne, both of Coshocton; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Dawson Funeral Home in charge of Rev.Clarence Higgins. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
