COLLETT Helen Tankersley, 76, died July 17, 2012. Born in Garrard Co, she was the daughter of the late Stella and Richard Tankersley. She attended Paint Lick High School. She spent many years of her career in retail and was also a caregiver. Survivors are 3 children, Danny Collett, Carol Collett, Richard "Tony" Collett, FL; special grandson and longtime caregiver, Cory J. Collett; 9 additional grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Earl Tankersley, OH, Curtis Tankersley; special life long friend, Thelma Helton, and a host of other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Collett, Sister, Georgia Joseph, and brother, Edward Tankersley. A special thanks to the staff at Northpoint Medical Center and to friend, Guy Cappiccie. She was an angel who touched the lives of everyone she knew. Visit 11am Fri, Spurlin Funeral Home, Lancaster.
