OAKDALE, PA — Kenneth E. Armagost, age 63, a resident of Oakdale, PA, passed away on Feb. 1, 2012, at home, after a long battle with heart disease and lymphoma. He was born on Jan. 6, 1949 in Reynoldsville [sic--see Note below], PA to Fred J. Armagost and Barbara N. (Streeter) Armagost.

Ken was a Flight Dispatcher with U.S. Airways in Corapolis, PA. He graduated from Lewiston Porter Central School in Niagara County and Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY.

Ken was an outstanding athlete and participated in many long distance runs and bike races. As his health deteriorated, Ken loved to walk his dog to stay active.

He is survived by his father, Fred J. Armagost; five brothers, Gerald, Thomas, Wayne, David, Randy and four sisters, Roberta (Andersen), Eileen (Jasper), Cheryl (Jasper), Barbara (Carroll). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Son, brother, friend and mentor. He will be greatly missed by all.
