Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Summers Funeral Home of Boise. Rev. Ted Huffman of Wright Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Stanton was born April 12, 1899, at Centerville, Idaho, a daughter of Jessie and Orley Soucie. When she was 12 years of age, the family moved to a farm south of Meridian. She married Merle Pettet in 1917, and they were the parents of one daughter. They divorced in 1924. She married James McFarlane in 1934. He died in 1968. She then married Loyd Stanton in 1969. Mrs. Stanton was a retired legal secretary at several law offices in Boise.
She was a member of Wright Community Congregational Chruch, and Unity Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Loyd D. Stanton of Boise; a daughter, Helen Wright of Boise; and two sisters, Elta Pettet of Ontario, Ore. and Mae Hickman of Wilder. Her parents, a brother and five sisters also died earlier. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
