Services for James T. McFarlane, 78, of 1618 Howry, who died in a Boise hospital Monday evening will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Summers Chapel.
The Rev. Stacy S. Richards, Wright Community Congregational Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Terrace Lawn.
Born in Goldhill, Colo., Nov. 20, 1889, he moved to Idaho in 1904 where he completed his education. He then worked as an apprentice in a mill for several years and became manager of the Boise Sash and Door co. until it closed. He managed Wood Products, Inc. until he retired in 1962.
He was a member of the Wright Community Congregational Church.
Survivors include his wife, Clara, Boise; a son, James Carl McFarlane, Elko, Nev.; a step-daughter, Helen R. Wright, Los Angeles, Calif,; two grandsons, James Carl McFarlane Jr., Boise , and Richard McFarlane Santa Fe, N. M. ; a granddaughter, Nancy McFarlane, Elko, Nev.; and a great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers include Louis Meyer, Larry Myers, Maury Doerr, Jerry Bower, Bob Johnson and Neil Henderson.
