Nancy was born in Middleton, MD., she married George Stech a blacksmith about 1824 either in Fairview or Middleton Maryland. Her husband George died early. In the1850 Census she her daughter Mary L. and son Martin Luther are living with her son-in-law Jacob Zentmire the wagon maker. In the 1860 census Nancy passed away 5 months before the census and her daughter Mary L. now is living with her brother Martin L. Stech and family. Nancy died March 8th, 1860 after a long illness of liver disease. It is possible Nancy died in the home of her son Martin Luther, which is located north of Welsh Run Creek on Rt 416. Just south of the Welsh Run Creek on Rt 416 was the Blacksmith Shop and next door to the Blacksmith shop is the Wagon Shop that Martin Luther Stech and his two brother-in-laws Jacob Zentmire, and Joseph Spriggs started.
