He was born September 21, 1920 a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shoulders of Booneville, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Ann Shoulders; three children, Ronald G. Shoulders, Vine Grove, Ky., Michael C. Shouldrs, Guston, Ky., Gregory G. Shoulders, Brandenburg, Ky.; five step-children, Mrs. Brenda Lucas, Mr. Donnie Drane, Gary Drane, Ricky Drane all of Brandenburg, Ky. and Darrell Drane, Locust Hill, Ky.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Joe Brocker, Mrs. Elizabeth France, Mrs. Helen Haynes all of Booneville, Indiana; five brothers, Andrew Shoulders, John Shoulders, Edward Lee Shoulders all of Booneville, Indiana; Lloyd Shoulders of Terre Haute, Indiana and David Shoulders of California.

Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, Ky. with the Rev. Bill Blackburn officiating. Interment was in Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg, Meade County, Kentucky. Pallbearers were Wayne Worley, Claude Hardin, Alex Halbert, Alex Givans, Daymond Givans and Roger Frey.
