(1897 - 1918)

WALDRON NELSON, 21, SUCCUMBS TO OPERATION A WEEK BEFORE HE WAS TO HAVE CLAIMED BRIDE

Waldron Nelson, son of James Nelson, 929 North Fifteenth street, died at the hospital last night following an operation which he underwent Saturday for appendicitis. He was 21 years of age and had been at the hospital only a few days. The death of the young man is particularly sad. Only a few days before he was stricken and removed to the hospital he had made application for a marriage license to wed Miss Lilah Clement and the wedding was planned for May 22.

Deceased was born at Green Bay on May 13, 1897, his death occurring on his birthday. The family have resided here of late years.

Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Joseph, William and George and two sisters, Misses Arline and Mayme.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.
