Funeral services for Roland Manferd Bishop, who passed awav in the Westlock Im-maculata Hospital February 19, 1960. were held at the Clyde United Church on Tuesday, February 23, 1960 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Smeth-eram and members of the Strath-cona L.O.L. 1654 of Edmonton officiated. Interment took place in the Dungannon Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Eric Nichols, Ed Dempster, Warren Wilson, Harold Brownlee, Bill Meston, and Arnold Chappell. Honorary pallbearers were Messrs.: John Marshall, Ed Chappell, Carmen Breadnor, Lloyd Newcombe, George Crewe, and Harry Kinsmen. Many beautiful floral tributes and kind expressions of sympathy were received. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his loving wife, Ruby; four daughters, Mrs. C. Sampson of Edmonton. Mrs. S. Warawa of Lac La Biche. Mrs. C, Arndt of Manning, and Mrs. A. Lank of Red Deer; five sons, Donald, Clifford, and tester of Edmonton, Alson and Glenn of Swan Hills; three brothers, DeVere of Riondel. B.C., George of High Prairie, and Hubert of Westlock: three sisters, Mrs. Norman (Margaret) Main, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Tainsh of Clyde, and Mrs. Stanley (Mildred) Barrow of Detroit; also 22 grandchildren.
