Born Sept. 13, 1903, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of Judson W. and Sadie (Green) Evans.
Mrs. Hubler taught in area schools for 30 years before her retirement.
She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, rural morrisdale, and the Centre Hill Grange No. 885, rural Morrisdale, and the Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenna M. Craw of Northport, N.Y., and Larrian Johnston of Tully, N.Y.; two sons, Lyle Hubler of Kylertown and Michael Hubler of Coraopolis; 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hubler was the last of her generation, being preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Wynne Hubler on July 20, 1983; two sons, Keith and Jacob; two brothers, John and Daniel Evans; and two sisters, Isabelle Hartley and Cordie Kent.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Fairview United Methodist Church, Morrisdale RR, with Rev. Thomas L. Harmic and Rev. Kathleen Myers officiating.
Interment will be at Fairview United Methodist Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Deer Creek Road, Morrisdale, and Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.

MORRISDALE - Services for Josephine E. Hubler, 96, of Morrisdale, who died at 4:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at the Presbyterian Home of the Moshannon Valley, Philipsburg, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fairview United Methodist Church, Morrisdale RD.
Rev. Thomas L. Harmic and Rev. Kathleen Myers will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Among Mrs. Hubler's survivors are four great-grandchildren.
