Adolph Blecha was born
September 24, 1883 to Joseph
and Louisa Blecha, near
Humboldt, Nebr. in Richardson
County, and died October 1977 at
the Belleville Health Care
Center, at the age of 94 years
and eight days.
In 1907 the family moved from
Nebraska to a farm located
northwest of Munden.
Jan. 22, 1913 he and Mary
Kolars were married. They
moved across the road from his
parents' home, where he had
built their house. Their three
sons, Arnold, Ben and Amos
were born and raised on this
farm. In the fall of 1950 Adolph and
Mary left the farm and moved
to Belleville; Adolph remained active in
buying, reconditioning and
renting houses, until he was
past 90 years of age.
After the death of his wife,
Mary, he lived in a retirement
home in Belleville.
He was preceded in death by
his wife Mary on March 12,
1976; his parents, seven
brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are his sons: Arnold
of Derby, Ben and Amos,
both of Munden, ten grand-children
and five greatgrand children.
