On December 1st, 1901, she was united in marriage to Christopher C. Thompson. To this union five children were born: Edna (Mrs. Morris Johnson) of Granite Falls, Minnesota, Conrad of Dawson, Minnesota, Lelan of Lowry, Minnesota, and Goodwin of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Another daughter, Wilma, preceded her in death May 23, 1930.
Her husband, Mr. Thompson, died December 28, 1944. She moved to Granite Falls in 1945 and lived there until her death at the Granite Falls Hospital March 1st, 1951.
She is survived by her four children, 13 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three sisters: Julia Thompson of Alexandria, Minnesota, Mrs. Anne Rosval and Dora Anderson of Hazel Run; four brothers: Cornelius of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Gilbert of Clarkfield, Alfred of Hazel Run, and Ole of Minneapolis.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She was always an active church worker, and was a charter member of the Ladies Aid. She always enjoyed going to church when she was able, then she listened to the radio services.
