Mrs Melissa Clasey
Mrs. Melissa Clasey, 74, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geneva Siems, 1308 West Springfield, aveune, Urbana. She had been ill for the past two months.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Owens funeral home with Rev. Dwight Enberg of the Churchof the Bretheren officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p. m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Clasey was born at Tuscola, April 29, 1878, daughter of Christopher and Emma Cain. She attended Tuscola schools and was married to Frank Clasey of Champaign September 25, 1899, Mr. Clasey died in 1932. An infant also preceded Mrs. Clasey In death.
Mrs. Clasey leaves four children: Winnie B. Clasey, Emma Clasey, Charles F. Clasey and Mrs. Siems, all of this community. She also leaves six grandchildren.
