Services for Lois Evett, 80, of San Augustine will be held at 2 p..m. today at Attoyac Baptist Church in San Augustine County. Burial will follow in the Attoyac Cemetery.

Mrs. Evett was born Aug. 14, 1931, in San Augustine County and died July 13, 2012, in Nacogdoches.

Parents: Bud Bryant and Annie (Moore) Bryant.

Lois was a member of the Attoyac Baptist Church. For many years she worked in the San Augustine Independent School District as a Teacher's Assistant. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors: her sons Gene Evett, Gary Evett/wife Kay; daughter Rhonda Evett; daughter-in-law Martha Evett; grandchildren Jeremy Evett, Jonathan Randy Lemons, and David Evett; brother E.D. Bryant/wife Agnes; sister Tempie June Bardwell/husband Richard; sisters-in-law Joyce Bryant and Katie Bryant; brother-in-law Ray Bennefield.

She was preceded in death by her husband H.D. Evett; sisters Ethel, Allie, Opaline; and brothers Freeman and Allan.
