John Weber was born Nov. 13, 1879 to Nicholas and Ann Weber in Stacyville Township in the Meyer community.
In 1910 he was united in marriage to Rose Kramer at Johnsburg. To them were born a daughter, Irene, Mrs. Joe Adams of Austin and a son, Arthur of St. Ansgar. His wife, Rose, preceded him in death in 1914.
He remarried in 1916 to Susie Schreier of Currie, Minn. at Avoca, Minn. To this union were born two sons, Edward of New Haven and Ramond of Austin and one daughter, Regina, Mrs. Frank Klecker of Owatonna.
Mr. Weber spent his entire life farming in the Johnsburg and Stacyville communities until 1958 when he and his wife moved to the present home in Stacyville. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters and his first wife, Rose.
Surviving are his present wife and children, 14 grandchildren, one brother, Albert of Austin and a sister, Mrs. Joe Kleckner of McHenry, Ill.
