He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Alvis, Raydean Burnes Abbott and a sister Auta lee.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Ada B. Abbott, a son Roger (Debbie) of Broken Arrow, two daughters Diane Garrison (Glendle) of Searcy, Nena Johnston (Pat), of Bellview, IL., Grandchildren Tracy Teausseau (Ross), Jason Payne (Natalie), Kelly Frieze (Randy), Jacob Garrison, Mackeizie Simon, 7 Geat-Grandchildren, a brother Linos Abbott (Brenda) of Searcy, other relatives and friends.
He loved to fish, hunt and could tell many tales. He was a Christian and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ.
He loved his family very much and he missed all those that passed before him. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner.
He was in the Navy, serving in both the Korean War and World War II. He was on the Minesweeper U.S.S. Hawk. He was retired from the National Guard after serving 21 years.
We all love him and will miss him.
