Burnes Lynn Abbott, 71, of Searcy passed away Saturday, November 21, 2008. He was born Tuesday, January 12, 1937 to the late Homer and Ethel Abbott.

He is survived by a daughter, Angela Tyler Choate and her husband Fred of Bald Knob, two grandchildren, Lynley and Macey Choate of Bald Knob, two brothers, Therlow and Linos Abbott.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Elouise Abbott, two brothers, Alvis Abbott, Ray Dean Abbott and a sister, Auta Lee Abbott.

Mr. Abbott was formerly a Captain with the Searcy Fire Department, Conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad, a Veteran of the National Guard and a member of First Baptist Church of Searcy.

Visitation will be at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, 5:00 – 8:00 pm and services 2:00 pm Monday, November 24 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel
