Hanover, died Sunday, 6th February at 1:25am at
the Brethren Home, New Oxford, where he was a
guest 12 days.
Born in New Oxford, he was a son of the late
Henry & Martha (Weaver) Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Mary G. (Hocken-
smith) Moore.
He was a member of the Annunciation Church,
McSherrystown; a retired employee of Freeman
Shoe Company, of Hanover; & a life member of the
Littlestown Eagles, The Brushtown & Irishtown Fire
Companies. He was also a member of the Adams
County Volunteer Firemen's Association.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Jean M. Dickensheets and Mrs. Mary C. Hertz, both of Hanover; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grand-children; 1 brother, Henry Moore of New Oxford; & 2 sisters, Mrs. Martha Oyler of Gettysburg and Mrs.Marie Hertz of Hanover.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, meeting at
Hicks Funeral Home, McSherrystown at 8:30am, followed
by Mass of Christian Burial at Annunciation Church at 9am
with his pastor, the Rev. Paul M. Miller, as celebrant. In-
terment will be in the parish cemetery.
