LaFAYETTE --- Mrs. Virginia McRae, 89, of LaFayette died Monday, Dec. 16, 1996, at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church of LaFayette with the Revs. Leroy McClendon and Al Ruggles officiating. Burial will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mrs. McRae is survived by her son, Wayne McRae of Mobile; three sisters, BeBe Abernathy of LaFayette, Mary Burton of Oxnard, CA and Johnnie LeSuer of Columbus, GA; one niece and three nephews.
Born May 9, 1907, in LaFayette, Mrs. McRae was a member of First Methodist Church of LaFayette. She was a homemaker.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette.
