Lottie Trumble, 90, of St. Anne, died Tuesday (July 10, 2012) at her home. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7 p.m. wake service, at the Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home, St. Anne. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church. Father James Fanale will officiate.

Burial will be in the St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church or for Masses.

Mrs. Trumble was a retired personnel manager from Carson Pirie Scott. She had also worked at Eltran Corp., St. Anne post office and for the U.S. Navy Department during World War II. She was born Nov. 1, 1921, in Momence, the daughter of Walter and Maude Keller Mitchell. Her husband, Bernard "Gabby" Trumble, whom she married July 30, 1939, in Indiana, preceded her in death Jan. 13, 2006. She was a volunteer bookkeeper at St. Anne Catholic Church for more than 20 years. She was very devoted to her faith and church.

Surviving are one daughter, Bernice Hines, of St. Anne; four grandchildren, Vicki (Tom) Murgach, and Paula (James) Burns, all of Kankakee, Lorie Themer, of St. Anne, and LaVerne "Joey" Hines, of Taylorville; 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister, June Fieleke, of Missouri; four brothers, Warren Mitchell, of Bonfield, Kenneth Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell, both of Kankakee, and Norman Mitchell, of Momence; and many, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-grandchild, Dena; one sister, Jane Boone; and four brothers, Clyde, Jerry, Earl and Charles.
