MOTHER AND SON DIE WITHIN WEEK
The second in his family to die within the week of pneumonia, Vincent A. Hockensmith succumbed Friday morning at 8 o'clock at his home in Hanover. He was aged 57 years, five months and eight days. His mother died as a result of that disease last Sunday at the age of 82 years, at the home of her son, John T. Hockensmith, Berlin Junction.
The deceased was married to Lillie King who survives together with three sons and a daughter, Curvin A., Hanover; Leo, Kansas; Miss Marion and Alvin, living at home. Also survives are four brothers and a sister; John J., Berlin Junction; Basil, Brushtown; Edward, Centennial; Cletus J., McSherrystown, and Mrs. Frank Funk, Mt Pleasant township.
Funeral services Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock with services at the house. The Rev. O.C. Dean officiating, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
