Frank Van Scoy, 82 Died Suddenly Monday
Branchport, Jan. 15—Frank E. Van Scoy, aged 82 years, died suddenly at Campbell Beach, Branchport, Monday afternoon. He resided with his daughter Mrs. George Hall and following the noon meal he was left alone for perhaps fifteen minutes. When Mrs. Hall returned to the room she found her father dead on the floor.
He was a member of the Methodist church at Italy Hill. The funeral was held in the Methodist church in this village this afternoon, Rev. C. L. Van Norman officiating and interment was made at Italy Hill.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Hall, with whom he lived, one son, Rev. Earle Van Scoy at Ovid, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
