"Elizur Barnes married Experience, a daughter of Nathaniel Ingraham, and lived in Jerusalem, west of Larzelere's Hollow, where he died. His widow still survives at the age of eighty six. Their children were Huldah, Amy, Mary and Ira. Huldah became the second wife of Jesse Davis; Amy married Cornelius Van Scoy. The others died unmarried."

Geneva Daily Times, Thursday, April 26, 1916:

Yesterday Mrs. Amy Van Scoy of Italy Hill celebrated her 96th birthday and although nearly blind and entirely deaf she enjoyed the day immensely.

Penn Yan Democrat, Friday, July 14, 1916:

VANSCOY.—Mrs. Amy VanScoy, the oldest resident of Italy Hill, died Monday morning at the home of her son, Frank VanScoy, at the age of 96 years. She is survived by her son, with whom she lived, two grandsons and one granddaughter, and several great grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. John Iredale officiating. Burial in Italy Hill Cemetery.
