Nadia loved nature, gardening and watching the birds at her home on Tiger Mountain. She was very creative and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making Christmas ornaments and many other handicrafts. Nadia also enjoyed playing Solitaire, but the thing that made her most happy was spending time visiting with her family and friends. Nadia was a shareholder with Koniag, Inc., an Alaska Native Regional Corporation.
Nadia was preceded in death by her husband August J. Segien, Jr. on August 9, 1977. She is survived by her daughters: Lin (husband Brent) Guard of Texas, Trudy (husband Don) Goodson of Texas, Myra (husband David) Shoemaker of Carnation, WA, Mary (husband Al) Ando of Black Diamond, WA, and son John "Lars" Aga of Tucson, AZ, and daughter N. Joanne (husband Allan) Landdeck of North Bend, WA. She will also be missed by fifteen grandchildren: Tara, Billy, Myra, Jack, Nadia, Dani, Saul, Chris, Marisa, Darin, Monica, Donnie, Andy, Nicci and Luke and 17 great grandchildren.
