Henry's father was Johann Jacob Gödel Goettel 1717–1752 Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
mother Anna Sara Rumfeldt 1723–1752 Bayern, Germany
Henrich arrived in Philadelphia on Sept 25, 1785 on the ship "Favourite". Coming with them were eight children. They had already buried two children in Germany. They went on to have 2 more children in Pennsylvania for a total of twelve children.
Their children were as follows:
