William C. Bond, 82, of Appenzell, died Friday, Nov. 26, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Dorothy J. (Feller) Bond.

Born in Appenzell, he was a son of the late Harry and Linnie (Kresge) Bond.

He lived and worked at Bond's Mountain Brook Dairy Farm in Appenzell his entire life. He owned and operated the farm for the past 40 years.

He was a lifetime member of St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell and was a past church treasurer. He was a member of the Barger Lodge 325 Free and Accepted Masons in Stroudsburg and the Lehigh Consistory. He served on the Board of Directors of both the West End Fair Association in Gilbert and the Pocono Mountain Dairies in McMichaels. He was also a member of the Jackson-Pocono Historical Society.

He is survived by three sons, Barry, Robert, and William Bond Jr., all at home; and a daughter, Jane Deiter of East Stroudsburg.
