Frances V. Poe, 86, of 207 East Harrison, Casey, Ill. passed away Tuesday, April 22, 1997 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25 at the graveside in Casey Cumberland Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Visitation will be Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service at Markwell & Son Funeral Home.
She was born June 2, 1910, to Edgar Allan and Cora Jane (Davis) Poe. She was a housekeeper throughout Casey for many years.
Survivors include one son, Frank “Gene” Poe of Chesapeake, Va.; a sister, Stella Willey of Sutherland, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Lawrence , Fox, of Casey; two grandsons, Frank E. Poe, Jr. of Chesapeake, Va. and Philip M. Poe of Suffolk, Va.; and three great-grandchildren; great grandson Dustin Poe, and great grand-daughter Ashley Poe of Suffolk Va. and grand-daughter Caroline Poe, Chesapeake, Va.,
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nellie Fox and Virginia Gray.
