STONEVILLE — Dorenda Sparks Shaw, 55, of 131 Jewbill Lane, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Moses Cone Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at the First Baptist Church of Mayodan. A private interment will follow at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Tulla Mae Holt Sparks and two brothers, Ronnie and Bob Sparks.
Survivors include her sons, David Shaw of Ridgeway, Va., Ron Shaw and Brad Shaw (Dee), both of Stoneville; brothers, Billy, Tommy, and J.D. Sparks; and sisters, Gloria Jean Vernon, Barbara Ann Smith, and Jewell Walker; and grandchildren, William, Lauren, and Dylan Shaw.
The family will receive friends at the home of Brad and Dee Shaw, 821 River Road, Stoneville, N.C.
