Shirley S. Anderson, 63, Kokomo, died at 12:38 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 30, 2000) at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center in Kokomo.

Mrs. Anderson had worked as a teller at the Union Bank and Trust and Key Bank, both in Kokomo.

She was a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority and St. Luke's United Methodist Church, both in Kokomo. She was also a member of the choir, Joy Fellowship, Naomi Circle, and Fa-Ho-Cha Sunday school class at the church.

She was born Nov. 27, 1937, in Plum Tree, a daughter of William S. and Berneice D. Hoover Sheets. She married Howard "Tom" Anderson Oct. 14, 1956, in Markle. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Sherry Brechbiel of Monticello and Julie Rowe of Bloomington, Minn.; four sisters, Wava Miller of Warren, Lois Mae Double of Markle, June Pursifull of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Ann Jackson of Markle; and two grandchildren.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo.

Services will be held at the mortuary at 120 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Ronald Ver Lee and Rev. Harold E. Williams officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Markle Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church choir fund or the Leukemia Society of America, in care of Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo IN 48901.
