AGED WOMAN DIES

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. HOUCHIN TO BE HELD THIS AFTERNOON


Funeral services for Mrs. Malinda Houchin, 79 years old, who died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday morning at her home at No. 1013 West Poplar street, will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. David McReynolds, No. 1026 West Poplar street.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Houchin died after an illness of only fourteen hours from acute indigestion. She had not been feeling well for several days previous to the time she was stricken with the fatal illness, but was not confined to her bed. She had resided in Carthage for more than thirty years. Two daughters survive, Mrs. David McReynolds and Mrs. Fred C. Pfifer, both of Carthage. She was a member of the Poplar Street Methodist Church.
