Sawyer County Record July 4, 1912
Three Year Old Child Lost
Ray Argetsinger, 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Argetsinger of Couderay, strayed into the woods Sunday and became lost. Bloodhounds were brought down from Ashland Monday, in charge of an expert, who left immediately by automobile to the place where the poor child was lost. It is doubtful if the child survived the first night as horseflies and mosquitos are very bad at this season. His parents are prostrated with grief. At 2:00 Tuesday afternoon Sheriff Clark and 15 men left in automobiles and with teams to search for the child.
