In his will dated 8 Jul. 1749, Joseph Lamb of Somerset Co., NY named Lydia Clark as a daughter.

1738 Oct. 4 Clark & Lidia Lamb (The Salmon Records, "NY Genealogical and Biographical Record" Vol 49, Pg 73)

They (Joseph Lamb and Patience Horton) and had a daughter, Lydia who married a Clark in 1738. Here the Salmon Record fails us, for it omits the first name of this particular Clark. ("A History of Mattituck L. I., NY" by Rev. Charles E. Craven, Pg 92)

CT VERSION: marriage of William Clark and Lydia Lamb, 3 Oct. 1738 (Lebanon VR, Vol. 1, Pg 41)

Note the qualifier PROBABLY in the following -
"Lamb Families in Connecticut Before 1800" Pg 53-4, by Frank B. Lamb, a manuscript in the CT State Library, Hartford, indicates Lydia Lamb probably m William Clark 3 Oct. 1738. He was a farmer in Lebanon CT, b 28 Oct. 1712; nine children are listed, as follows:

William b Mar. 27, 1742
Lydia b June 12, 1744
Patience b May 31, 1747 - d.y.
Submit b Oct. 1, 1749
Nathaniel b 1751
Patience b July 20, 1753
Lavina b Apr. 25, 1755
Elijah b Apr. 25, 1757

Of the Clark children, the following could have been named after Lamb relatives: Joseph (the grandfather), Lydia (the mother), Patience (the grandmother, also an aunt.)
The given name "Patience" was used twice.
