Betty J. Bacon - GLENNVILLE - Betty J. Bacon, 86 passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at her residence under the care of her family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Tattnall County native had lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Bacon son, Joey Bacon, parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister.
She is survived by, Children, Brenda & Jimmy Haire of Claxton, Becky Burkhalter of Claxton; Sister, Lucy S. Parmenter of Glennville; 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren, special niece, Dinah Wasson, several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beards Creek Church Cemetery.
