Sarah Alma Holder, 84, of McMinnville (Bratcher's Crossroad community) died Friday, June 9 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home.
Born Jan. 8, 1922 in Warren County, she was retired from ARA Food Service, a member of the Methodist Church, and attended Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Holder preceded in death by parents Vernon and Etta (Jones) Page, sisters Vada Bost and Margaret Lance, and brothers Everett Page and Alex Page.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years Jason Holder; son Ralph Holder of McMinnville; son and daughter in law, Wayne and Jodie Holder of McMinnville; brother and sister in law, Arvle and Mozelle Page of McMinnville, Gertrude Hoover of Manchester and Nerene Thompson of Tullahoma; special niece Juanita Brumley of McMinnville; grandchildren Greg and Lisa Holder, Kim and Tim Burnes, Jennifer and Darrell Gribble, Steve and Brenda Holder, Randy and Renea Holder; grandchildren Haden Holder, Tyler Burnes, and Elena Holder. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Joe Sissom, Bobby Wheeler, and Christian Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Holder family will receive friends today from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the palors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
