He leaves to morn his mother and father Jane and James Archer both living in Amelia, VA; his wife, Minister Franette Day, of Elmford; three sisters, Janice Perser of White Plains, Alice Trutte, Pamela Hamllet of Greenburgh; two brothers, James S. Archer of White Plains and Ronald Archer of Greenburgh; two sisters-in-law, Alice and Tammy and brother-in-law, Chris all of White Plains; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and all of his cousins.

His sister Mary Agnes Sweat pre-deceased him, she passed away on February 24, 2008.

A memorial service was held on Monday, June 2, 2008, at 7pm, at Union Baptist Church, 31 Manhattan Avenue, Greenburgh, NY.
