Marie married George W. Elliott on November 20, 1926 in Tulsa, OK, where their four children were born.

They moved to Southern California in 1940, where they raised their family. She has lived the past 25 years in San Ramon, Pleasanton and Dublin, much of the time with daughter Donna.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, George, son Richard G. Elliott, and all her six siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn R. Didier of Santa Rosa, Maebelle Hacker of Sylmar and Donna S. Faaborg of Dublin, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and camping and fishing with George and loved ones. She enjoyed meeting with friends for bridge, canasta and bible study. She left everyone she met with a smile and was greatly loved by all.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 12pm at St. Philip's Church or Hope Hospice, 6500 Dublin Blvd., Ste. 100, Dublin, CA 94568.
