Victoria (Czajkowski) Kubinski was born in Poland in ~1863, city unknown. She was the wife of Michael Kubinski and the mother of (in order) Leo, Valentine, Anthony, John, Clara, Frank, Mary, Joseph, Helen, Margaret, and Felix. Her father was named Valentine, as evidenced by the Memorial Book from her funeral. A description of Victoria, written in February 1991 by her daughter Margaret and grandson John Paul Kubinski:
"Victoria was a woman of considerable wit and talent, but the burden of childbearing curtailed her development. She was somewhat aristocratic, an avid reader, and was fluent in Polish, Russian, and German. She also taught herself English. Whatever artistic talents are in the clan are due, in part, to her genes."
Victoria is buried with her husband Michael in Sts. Peter and Paul's Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
