Chester Quinlan Dunn, was a very sturdy child. He was quiet & serious but active and early manifested the adventurous disposition of his eldest brother Edward. In early manhood he went to Montana & drove a mail stage from Miles city to Boseman. He enjoyed the adventurous life of the west but after returning home he became much more serious minded than any of his brothers & sisters.
He married Emma Hall in 1892. They had one child which died after one year of age. Chester went to the Phillipines as a soldier in the Spanish-American War & died from fever during the winter of 1898. His remains were sent to his parents & buried in the Millersburg Cemetery.
