A native of Afton, Iowa, Mr. Frueh was a lifelong resident of Nodaway County, Mo. He graduated from the Maryville High School. Mr. Frueh retired after farming and being employed as a car salesman. Mr. Frueh was a member of Elks Lodge No. 760, Maryville. In 1943, he married Kathryn Majors. She is deceased.
In 1967, he married Irene Watson. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Judy Meyer of Savannah, Mo., and Patty Derks of Valier, Mont.; a stepdaughter, Joyce Roberts of Kidder, Mo.; four brothers, Eugene and Bernard of Maryville, Raymond of Parnell and Richard of Hopkins, Mo.; five sisters, Evelyn O'Riley of Graham, Mo., Irene Meyer of Maryville, Bernice Schooler and Maxine Byrd of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Catherine Ransdall of Woodland, Calif.; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
