CALFEE, THOS P.
Thos. P. Calfee, age 65 years, died at his home in Grove, Oklahoma, Monday night, September 23, 1918, of heart failure and other complications. Mr. Calfee was truly a great and useful man, being held in the highest of esteem by the entire citizenship of Grove, which place he had made his home for many years. He was a bright Mason, and the local Masonic lodge loses one of its most valuable members, whose presence could heretofore always be relied on every meeting night. How we will miss him! He leaves a wife and six children to mourn his demise. Rev. Miller of Neosho, Mo., conducted funeral services at the residence, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., but owing to the inclemeny of the weather, the body was not interred until the following day, at which time the Masons took charge of the remains and laid all that was mortal of T.P. Calfee to rest in Olympus Cemetery, Lee Howe acting as conductor at 1 p.m. The "Grove Sun" extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
