"Together Forever"

BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Leila Hunsaker Grover, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Brigham City Community Hospital from natural causes.

She was born on May 2, 1928 in Honeyville, Utah, a beloved daughter of Alvin Austin and Pansy Perry Hunsaker.

Leila was a graduate of Box Elder High School.

She married Verl Grover on November 6, 1947 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1997.

Leila was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Brigham City LDS 10th Ward. Her favorite callings were serving in the Young Women's and Primary Program. Verl and Leila served a mission in the Raleigh North Carolina and as ordinance workers in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She loved gardening, cooking for everyone in her ward and spreading the word about the gospel. Leila most favorite hobby was her grandchildren.

Surviving are her four children, Steven V. (Cay) Grover, West Bountiful; Verleen (Gregge) Hardman, Tremonton; Cindy (Brian) Torgesen, Soda Springs, ID; Ricky V. (Maureen) Grover, Brigham City; one foster daughter, Kim (Erwin) Marks, North Ogden; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hunsaker and Julia Hunsaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Verl and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 10th LDS Ward Chapel, 145 West 500 South.

A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, and on Friday the day of the service at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be in the Honeyville City Cemetery.
