The Burlington Free Press, 30 Dec 1937, Thu, Main Edition printed an article "Former Northfield Girl is Auto Victim" which tells of Blanche's Death when she was hit by a car Dec 26 1937 driven by the town constable.

She was buried on Family property in (South)Northfield, Washington County, Vt.
