Nellie died in 1897 and Harry was put in the home for Little Wanderers with his brother Charles. In June of 1899 the boys were brought to Vt and adopted by two local families. Charlie was adopted by CH Broadwell, and Harry was adopted by Asa George, but Mrs George died shortly afterwards so Harry was then adopted by Auston and Chloe Daniels. They changed his name to Harry Dubois Daniels. "
