Squirrel's Note: Once again, I strongly believe Charles was born in 1881, not August 1880. His sister, Mary Frances, was born in March 1880. Then Charles was born five months later?? Impossible. In addition, I don't think Charles was born in Richland Center, Richland County, Wisconsin. His young sister, Mary Frances Moeglein, died in 1883, at the age of 3, in Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin. Therefore, I believe Charles was born in Madison.
Most records I saved to Charles in my family tree show the middle initial J. His WWI draft registration card also shows his name as Charles J Moeglein. His WWII draft registration card was filled out by someone else who wrote his name as Charles John Moeglein; however, when Charles himself signed the card, he wrote "Charles J Moeglein."
