Mrs. Ida Beckman, 64, pioneer resident of Brimson, died Wednesday in St. Mary's hospital, Duluth. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today, in Bassett Community hall, with interment in Bassett cemetery.
The deceased a resident of the Brimson community for 40 years, has been town clerk of Bassett township for 22 years. She ws born Dec. 31, 1880, in Finland.
Surviving are four sons: Theodore, Arnold, Clarence and Fred, all of Brimson; two daughters, Mrs. Ilmari Laaksonen, Brimson and Mrs. Thorsten Olsen, Chicago.
