Mrs. Hannah Moore of Toronto, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Doc Sherman in this vicinity Monday night, January 14, after an illness of nine days with pneumonia. Mrs. Moore was quite, kind disposition, always ready and willing to do what she could for those around her.
Her husband, John Moore died about nine months ago. Two son, Reuben, who lived at home, and Charles who is a soldier at Ft. Sill, OK.,are left to mourn the loss of their dearest (not readable) friend. Also three sister, Mrs. Nancy Williams of Toronto, Mrs. Sarah Matlock, of Townada and Mrs. Maggie Sherman of this vicinity, and one brother Joe Gleason, of Toronto, besides numerous other relatives and friends, who will miss her cheerful presence from their midst.
Short funeral services were held at the Sherman home Wednesday morning and interment was made at Toronto.

Married John B. Jones on April 29, 1885, Greenwood County, Kansas at the residence of Cyrus Williams by Rev. Benjamin Weekly. Kansas, Greenwood County Marriage Records.
