Mr. Alexander, 57, died April 30, 2002, at SMRMC. He was born in Jayess on June 5, 1944, to Lessie Alexander Price and Clayton Alexander.
He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors are his wife, Jeanette Dunaway Alexander of Jayess; his son, Brian Alexander of Jayess; his mother, Lessie Alexander Price of Jayess; his brothers, Randolph Alexander and Jesse Alexander, both of Jayess; his foster brother, John L. Caves of Jayess; his sisters, Bennie Lee Powell, Willie Ruth Thornhill and Josephine Thornhill, all of Jayess; his stepgrandchildren, Ronnie and Savannah Venable; and nine nieces, eight nephews, and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
