Mr. Alexander, 70, died Feb. 7, 2010, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Feb. 24, 1939, to Clayton Alexander and Leslie Robins Alexander.
He was a retired oilfield motorman. He was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a wife; a brother and a sister.
Survivors are his wife, Jean Alexander, of Jayess; his son, Phillip Alexander and companion Joellen Dillon; his daughter, Wanda Miller and husband Kim; his stepdaughter, Angela Dunnaway and husband Dewayne; his brother, Randolph Alexander and wife Linda; his sisters, Willie Ruth Thornhill, and Jo Thornhill and husband Carol; his grandchildren, Candi, Heather, Deanna, Corey and Justin; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Zane and Zachary; two great-grandchildren, Hope and Cane; and his great-stepgrandchild, Keegan.
